2016 First Chinese FSP/CFSE/CFSP Course in Qingdao, China

exida Asia Pacific had successfully conducted the Chinese FSE 100 course in Qingdao, China on 11-14 April 2016. Dr. Felix Wang, Senior Safety Consultant, conducted the Chinese course to 13 participants from Qingdao Moses, Sinochem, PetroChina, Daqing Petrochemical, Sinopec and etc.
Throughout the course, topics on Safety Lifecycle, Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Assessment and Risk Analysis and Management were taught to the participants. Case studies and examples were also demonstrated in class to develop participants’ knowledge on practical skills, functional safety standards and capabilities. Participants also had in-depth discussions with Dr. Felix Wang on the IEC 61511 and IEC 61508 standards and concepts.
The participants took the first Chinese Functional Safety Practitioner (FSP) examination at the end of the 4th day and all of them passed with high scores. The participants were awarded with the FSP certificates.
The next Chinese FSE 100 course and CFSE/CFSP examination will take place in Qingdao, China on 11-15 July 2016.
