PR15 Alarm Management with PlantPAx®
This hands-on lab use the capabilities of PlantPAx® Alarm Builder to exchange alarm information with our new Encompass Partner exida’s software package, SILAlarm. The users examined and corrected poorly defined alarms in an existing PlantPAx® system by performing an Alarm Rationalization exercise resulted in the creation of a Master Alarm Database. Through this lab they ultimately improved alarm performance by applying concepts defined in the ISA 18.2 standard.
