EXIDIA CERTIFIES BIFOLD BOOSTER VALVES FOR SAFETY per IEC 61508

exida, the global leader in functional safety certification for the process industries, has certified the design and engineering processes for the Bifold Fluidpower Ltd. VBP, PPV, and HIPEX Booster Valves per IEC 61508.
“The IEC 61508 standard requires manufacturers meet requirements for both product safety and the process used to design the product,” says exida Senior Engineer Greg Sauk. “Design quality is the clear objective. Bifold has demonstrated that its development processes and product characteristics meet the requirements of the IEC 61508 safety standard.”
