New exida Academy Online, Self-Paced Functional Safety Courses

exida Academy is excited to announce the launch of a new Online, Self-Paced model of learning for our Courses. This new platform of learning will provide many benefits to customers. Students who cannot invest several consecutive days away from work will now be able to get the training they need from wherever they are in the world at their own pace, including those who want to prepare for the CFSE / CFSP exam. Companies with limited budgets will now be able to get valuable, functional safety training for their employees as they will save significantly in travel time and expenses. This online, self-paced learning model increases the capabilities of exida Academy to satisfy the competency needs of more clients. It adds to the already robust array of offerings including over twenty distinct courses currently delivered as both onsite, customer-courses and open enrollment for individuals. exida Academy offers a variety of courses in Functional Safety, Alarm Management, Automotive, and Industrial Cybersecurity.
Delivered by world class safety instructors, the new online, self-paced courses consist of the same high-quality material exida Academy customers have come to expect. The courses will be offered though the online learning system, Litmos. Each course includes modules of recordings for each section and pdf files of the course manual and exercise solutions. The customer will have access to each course for 60 days. A course completion certificate, which can be printed, is produced after each course.
The following are the first two online, self-paced courses:
- FSE 101 - Safety System Analysis
- FSE 102 – SIS Design and Operation
These two-day courses cover the first two and last two days respectively of exida Academy’s most popular course, FSE 100 - IEC 61511: Functional Safety Analysis, Design, and Operation. Each course will cost $1095 USD. The Safety Book Package can be purchased separately for $490 USD. A twenty-question, Functional Safety Practitioner (FSP) exam is offered after the completion of the FSE 102 course. If the candidate achieves 80% or higher on the exam, an FSP certificate is produced.
