Signal common

1. The signal common shall refer to a point in the signal loop which may be connected to the corresponding points of other signal loops. It may or may not be connected to earth ground [S50.1]. 2. The reference point for all voltage signals in a system. Current flow into signal common is minimized to prevent IR drops which induce inaccuracy in the signal common reference.
