The SRS is the backbone for the Safety Instrumented System (SIS) and should define ALL the requirements for the SIS and its associated Safety Instrumented Functions (SIFs). All too often the SRS is not followed due to poorly defined requirements, ambiguous or not easily understood functionality and missing or incomplete requirements. The result of which leads to poorly implemented SIS, and subsequent poor performance.
The webinar will highlight the importance of a having a good, accurate and comprehensible Safety Requirements Specification (SRS), including the need for proper maintenance and proof testing of the SIFs. The webinar will also examine some of the weaknesses and will suggest how to improve the SRS further.
Anyone involved in the design, operation and maintenance of SIS should attend this webinar.
