Operations Manager

Description
For our exida Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore, we are looking for an:
Operations Manager (m/f)
to develop and manage the exida operations in the Asia Pacific region.
He/She will setup an organisation to handle the increasing demand for:
-
SIL determination (facilitation)
- SIL verification Audits and system analysis
- Determining and auditing operating and maintenance procedures
- Safety Requirements Specifications
- Review SIS design Experience
The successful candidate will bring 5 years of experience in the process industry, and possesses or is working towards CFSE certification.
In addition to leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently, the optimal candidate would possess knowledge and experience in one or more of the following fields:
-
PHA and SIL participation/facilitation experience
- Knowledge of IEC 61508/61511 standards
- Experience in process control and safety instrumentation systems
- Project management

Senior Safety Engineer/Specialist
Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Description
The position offers a unique and dynamic atmosphere by working with prestigious clients committed to creating a safe operating environment. We offer training and mentoring programs designed to achieve CFSE certification.
Job duties include:

- SIL verification

Experience
Experience: The successful candidate would have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the process industry, be a member or eligible for membership with APEGGA or ASET, and possess or working towards CFSE certification. The optimal candidate would possess strong knowledge and experience in the following:
- PHA and SIL participation/facilitation experience
- Strong knowledge of IEC 61511/ISA 84 standards along with IEC 61508
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Experience in process control and safety instrumentation systems (design and installation)
- Project management
Education: Engineering degree or technical diploma in chemical/process, instrumentation/controls, or electrical/mechanical

Position Title:

Description
Job duties include: performing safety integrity level determinations, layer of protection analysis, and probabilistic analysis of instrumentation designs. In addition, the engineer will assist clients with processes and procedures for compliance with the functional safety standards.
Experience: The optimal candidate will have experience in: control system instrumentation design and installation or safety instrumented system design and installation.
Education: BSChE /BSEE or equivalent experience.
