Webinars

exida : Webinars : About

About

exida Webinars are conducted using Microsoft Live Meeting. It's as simple as having a supported Internet browser, a high speed internet connection, and audio enabled on your computer. Below are some requirements:

The Audio Portion

For audio, exida will be using Voice Over IP (VoIP) presented as a Internet Audio Broadcast through Microsoft Live Meeting 2007. Two way interaction between students and instructor will be enabled. In order to interact, you will need a microphone. Built-in mics work just fine.

If the Internet Broadcast option has been enabled for a meeting, in the Audio and Recording Setup pane, you will see that the audio status is playing when you first enter the meeting. If the Audio and Recording Setup pane is not shown, on the Audio menu of the Live Meeting console, click Listen to Internet Audio Broadcast.

It may take up to 30 seconds before Live Meeting is fully connected to the conference call and begins broadcasting the audio to meeting participants.
