What you’re good at 

You take a balanced approach to theory and practical application. A team player, strong communicator, and results-oriented professional, you have a strong sense of work ethic and commit to getting projects over the finish line. Reporting to the Director of OEM Certification, you will:

  • Study new electronic and mechanical component field failures to understand how to predict failure rates and failure modes
  • Contribute to exida’s on-going evaluation and certification of cybersecurity and safety of automation systems in the automation, robotics, medical, mining, chemical, automotive, and refining industries  
  • Evaluate new semiconductor designs for reliability and failure mode probabilities
  • Create quantitative failure rate models for various semiconductor devices including useful life
  • Perform Hardware FMEA and Dependent Failure Analysis
  • Perform Failure Modes, Effects, and Diagnostic Analysis
  • Support business development efforts - creating proposals, presenting to clients and participating in the RFP process.

Skills and Requirements:

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree
  • 5+ years of experience in design for analog and digital
  • Knowledge of electronic component failure modes and mitigation techniques
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • U.S. work authorization (for Sellersville, PA location)
  • Successful completion of background check

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in electronic design, schematic entry, and parts qualification is useful
  • CFSE or CFSP certification
  • Knowledge of semiconductor design and production processes
  • Knowledge of Functional Safety standards
  • Quick-learner and curiosity for next-gen technology and best practices
