Responsible for the growth and development of OEM sales revenue, specifically focused on exida’s Certification business which evaluates OEM products for compliance to the global standards. These standards relate to the IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 standards for functional safety for the process industry; IEC 62443 for industrial control system cybersecurity; ISO 26262 for functional safety of automotive, IEC 62061 and ISO 13849 for safety of machinery, and ANSI/RIA 1506 for robot safety. The individual will be responsible for outbound sales, customer management, and market development activities. The responsibilities include the development of budgets and proposals, conducting training classes for existing and potential customers as well as producing white papers, blogs, webinars, presentations and books as required. Participation in relevant standards committees as required. The Business Developer will also monitor key competitors and identify potential threats and/or opportunities for exida products and services.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, Experience:
Develop a thorough understanding of exida’s certification scheme and effectively communicate it to customers.
Understand and implement the IEC Functional Safety standards.
