Mr. Elio Gómez holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA, along with the Certified Functional Safety Professional (CFSP) credential. He has been a key contributor to exida México since its inception, accumulating over 17 years of experience in process industry safety across Mexico, Latin America, and Spain.
Mr. Gómez specializes in risk analysis methodologies such as HAZOP, HAZID, Functional Safety, and Alarm Management. His technical expertise is complemented by a strategic vision that supports industries in identifying and mitigating risks to ensure safe and reliable operations.
As Managing Director, his primary responsibility is to guide organizations in recognizing their operational risks, addressing them effectively, and fostering a culture of safety. He also leads business development efforts to expand exida’s reach and impact, driving growth and innovation across the regions.
