0.5"-15K and 1"-15K SVA500 Actuated Gate Valves
The SVA500 series of valves are newly designed compact small-bore for the Subsea 2.0 platform and were designed based on the field proven 1”-15K SVA300 (formerly 1”-15K M3000) valve. It features a hydraulically operated actuator with coil spring return which provides a fail close function and has Thru-Bore or 90° Outlet configurations for different mounting options. It also provides a separate tooling override mechanism to achieve closure by transforming internal rotation into a linear force pushing the upper stem inside the actuator. The override function is not part of the SIS. The 1”-15K gate valve is designed to fully function at the surface and up to 15,000 ft (4572 m) of seawater depth. The 0.5”-15K SVA500 is designed to function up to 10,000 ft (3048 m) water depth.
