Safety Lifecycle Overview with exSILentia (Part 1)

The Functional Safety Lifecycle as defined by IEC 61511 provides a method to analyze a process then design and implement a safety instrumented system to protect again high risk hazard scenarios. To perform each task effectively requires a good understanding of any analysis or design done beforehand. This webinar focuses on a simple, practical example starting with definition of risk criteria, Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), SIL selection and documenting the Safety Requirement Specification (SRS) using the exSILentia Safety Lifecycle Suite.
About the Presenter:
Kate Hildenbrandt works for exida as a Product Manager, responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for exSILentia software and associated products as well as development of customer accounts and outbound marketing activities. She is also focused on providing training and application support to new and existing customers utilizing exSILentia®. She graduated from Lehigh University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. She has over 8 years of professional experience in the gases and chemicals industry, with roles in Process Safety, Project Management, Plant Process Engineering and Project Development.
