The webinar addresses the IEC61511 2016 update to include changes to the safety lifecycle requirements, specifically to undertake a periodic SIS performance assessment via a Functional Safety Assessment (FSA) 4. Although this requirement has been adopted in other parts of the world, it appears that here in the US this is not yet a common practice. This webinar explores some of the reasons and benefits as to why conducting an FSA 4 is prudent and practical and, how, rather than wasting money, will actually help save money.
