Brad Hitchcock, CFSP

Brad Hitchcock Brad Hitchcock is a Safety Engineer at exida, where he performs numerous tasks in both the original equipment manufacturing (OEM) and end user groups. In the OEM group, he performs Failure Modes Effects and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDAs) to find accurate failure rates of valves, actuators, and relay systems. He also performs Safety Cases on certification products to ensure they meet the requirements of IEC 61508. On the end user side, he creates gap analysis to make sure that systems are compliant with the requirements listed in IEC 61511. Mr. Hitchcock recently graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
