In machine safety the SRS is the foundation for the Safety Related Electrical Control System (SRECS) and should define ALL the requirements for the SRECS and its associated Safety Related Control Functions (SRCFs). As we have seen and learned from the process industry, all too often the SRS is rarely created or not taken seriously. When a SRS exists we often see poorly defined requirements, ambiguous or not easily understood functionality and missing or incomplete requirements are often seen when the SRS. The result of which leads to poorly implemented safety systems.
This webinar will highlight the importance of the Safety Requirements Specification (SRS). This webinar will also examine some of the weaknesses and will suggest how to improve the SRS further.
Anyone involved in the design, operation and maintenance of the SRECS should attend this webinar.
