How to Effectively Use Certified Equipment in Fire and Gas Systems (Part 1)

Recording Date: September 2017

This webinar is a collaboration with MICROPACK (Engineering) Ltd with special guest James McNay.

Certifying detectors is an important step in achieving and reassuring safety for Fire and Gas Systems (FGS). How these products are used in a system is just as important.

With an increased scrutiny and more robust requirements, Fire and Gas (F&G) Mapping has become a critical step. How would one review the F&G coverage of a facility is adequate? What yardstick would be used in determining suitability of the system? How do we audit this coverage in light of facility modifications throughout the facility lifecycle?

This webinar will not only talk about certifying a F&G product but will also investigate the typical processes of a F&G Mapping exercise and discuss the benefits of a consistent approach to FGS Design throughout the lifecycle of a facility.
