Micro Motion 1700/2700 field-mount transmitters are powered by MVD Technology and designed for compact integral mounting, or to easily mount on a wall or pipe stand. These transmitters feature a rugged Class I, Division 1 / Zone 1 housing with an optional local operator interface designed to make flowmeter access easy. Flowmeter commissioning is simple and straight-forward with virtually no special programming requirements.
Process issues can be easily identified and resolved with built-in, easy access to diagnostics now including PlantWeb alerts with Foundation Fieldbus. Micro Motion® Model 1700 and 2700 field mount transmitters are also available in 316L stainless steel housing. This material is suitable for hazardous areas and provides increased durability for extreme environments such as offshore applications.
