What you’re good at 

You take pride in having strong personal and professional ethical values, self-accountability for achieving goals and standards and strong time management skills to achieve results. You work independently and cooperatively as a member of a team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will:

  • Engage with clients to evaluate and assess their functional safety, alarm and cybersecurity practices and culture
  • Lead and facilitate PHA/HAZOP/CHAZOP and LOPA workshops
  • Generate reporting as it pertains to safety requirements specifications for customers
  • Execute SIS conceptual design activities and SIL verification projects
  • Conduct functional safety and alarm rationalization training, seminars or webinars
  • Lead and facilitate trainings on software tools, alarm rationalization workshops and cyber risk assessments
  • Participate in alarm rationalization projects, as well as cybersecurity lifecycle projects that support
  • Promote and demonstrate exSILentia tools to ensure safety, alarm and cybersecurity protocols are followed
  • Lead and facilitate gap assessments for IEC61511 and IEC62443
  • Manage projects to exceed customer expectation while maintaining budget and schedule
  • Developing thought leadership, including whitepapers, blogs, webinars and new training materials
  • Develop proposals, budgets and timesheet recordings as required

Skills and Requirements:

  • B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree
  • 6+ years of experience in plant operations or system design including: hazard and risk assessment, reliability modeling, alarm rationalization, cyber risk assessment, and training
  • Foundation in Microsoft Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • U.S. work authorization (for Sellersville, PA location)
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (up to 40%)
  • Successful completion of background check

Bonus points for:

  • CFSE or CFSP certification
  • Knowledge of exSILentia software
  • Knowledge of functional safety, alarm, and cybersecurity standards
