The SSX/SST is a highly versatile, functionally safe isolator with many options. Available as 2-wire loop or 4-wire line/mains powered, it provides isolation and signal conversion, protecting and enhancing SIS loops. It can pass HART® data in both directions, or is available with HART filtering. The 4-wire SST is available as a splitter which takes the input from your process signals and creates two identical, isolated outputs to two devices. It can pass or filter HART data to one or both outputs. All versions have a systematic capability of SIL 3, approved for single use in SIS up to SIL 2.
