Collecting Field Data Using SILStat™

Recording Date: April 2015

You are expected to collect key operational and maintenance data, i.e. field performance data as part of the IEC 61511 / ISA 84.00.01-2004 standards and as part of compliance with an OSHA PSM Mechanical Integrity Program. What does that mean? You need to record product failures, process demands, success or failure of protection layers, among others. You are also expected to maintain records of your executed proof tests and mandatory maintenance activities. Comparing your actual field performance with your assumed performance and taking the corrective action when necessary is also expected. exida developed the Life Event Recorder tool SILStat™ which addresses all these needs. This webinar provides an overview of the SILStat™ software and review its capabilities and data analysis concepts.
