Course Description:

Bridging Corporate Culture and Technical Compliance

Success requires effective leadership in addition to good engineering practices. FSE 107 is designed to bridge the gap between technical complexity and executive oversight. This course equips managers and supervisors with the essential knowledge required to effectively oversee Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and navigate the intricate landscape of process safety requirements.

The course addresses a fundamental reality: Process safety is driven by corporate culture. A misaligned culture leads to under-design, wasted capital, or catastrophic loss of life. By understanding the rational, meticulous risk management techniques presented in this course, leaders can prevent these failures and ensure their organizations meet the rigorous demands of IEC 61511 (2016) and IEC 61508.
