Looking for a way to manage and maintain your operation and maintenance data, but don’t know where to start? Are you already using exSILentia® for your safety lifecycle task needs?

If so, SILstat™ offers a simple way to transfer exSILentia project data and build your database. SILstat is exida’s latest product launch, designed to provide users tools to manage and maintain O&M data for their safety systems and associated field devices.

Through the Imports function located within the SILstat tool, it becomes a simple matter of navigating through the embedded easy-to-follow workflow to import your exSILentia file.

This import creates your SILstat database in a hierarchical view to navigate through your plant, units, devices, and more.

The screenshot shows a users’ hazards plant hierarchy in the Configuration section of the tool. This specific hierarchy will outline a user’s unit, area, equipment, and hazards.

While using a new tool can be daunting, exSILentia and SILstat are tightly integrated to make the transition painless. The screenshots below show data within exSILentia and SILstat.

Above, the exSILentia screenshot displays Initiating Events of a Hazard Scenario with the Enabling Conditions, Independent Protection Layers, and Conditional Modifiers with the associated Frequencies.

The same data, shown in SILstat, offers a similar display to ensure an easy transition between the two programs.

SIF Model in exSILentia compared to SILstat

Displayed in the exSILentia screenshot on the left, is the structure of a SIF modeled in exSILentia. The SILstat screenshot on the right shows the exact same structure of the SIF within SILstat. The similarity of the data between the two tools is self-evident.
