exida Meet the Expert

New dates have been added to exida’s “Meet the Expert” Discussion Group Series held at our Houston office. With the “Meet the Expert” Discussion Group you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with exida experts as they lead discussions on key, relevant industry topics. There is no fee to attend these discussion groups. Times are 2:00pm-4:00pm CST.

Product Certification: Understanding the Process

An overview of the Certification Process for SIL rating to IEC 61508.  We will look at the overall   process to see what takes place during certification and then look at   requirements for getting started and options for completing the process.

Boiler Safety/BMS/with Consequence Analysis

A look at Boiler Safety and the new options for IEC 61511 analysis under NFPA Standards.  Many companies are considering IEC 61511 techniques to provide more consistency with existing safety systems and procedures. We will discuss the standards and the reasons to use IEC 61511. In addition, we will look at safety specific Consequence Analysis around Boilers and Heaters.

CFSE - Study Prep (How to Prepare for the exam)

This will be a kick-off for a Study Group for the CFSE/CFSP   certification exam.  We will discuss subjects to be discussed and schedules and times that would work for a study group.  We will start by going through the CFSE Certification processes and discuss what to expect on the exam.  The study group would be geared as preparation for the exam in Houston on December.

  • Anyone interested in more information on the CFSE/CFSP certification program in general and in particular, the examination.
  •      
  • Anyone considering taking the CFSE/CFSP exam and interested in participating in a study group to prepare.
  •
